What Does a Family Bonding Activity Cost?
Take a minute or two to remember when you were young. Like vacations you went on or some activity that you did with your family. As you are bringing up those memories think about and focus on what was the most important part to you.
If it was a vacation that you were thinking about what was your favorite part? Was it where you went or was it the special moments you spent with your Mom, Dad, siblings or Grandparents?
When we let ourselves think of our most precious memories it’s not a place or a thing that we treasure the most. It is the time of closeness and togetherness that we spent with the people we love most that we hold dearest in our memories. We remember the laughter shared, the talks we had, and the hugs and love we felt that we truly hold closest to our hearts.
The stories we tell about the events in our lives make lasting impressions on us. We pass these tales on to our kids so they too can experience the closeness we felt for our loved ones. We make memories daily and keeping our family close is important. It is not how much money it costs to make family time special. It is about talking and sharing what is happening in our lives together as a family that will hold the most weight.
